Shanxi Sweet Sticky Rice Cake/糯米凉糕

A traditional dessert from Shaanxi, China. Soaked glutinous rice is steamed and gently sweetened, then pressed into shape and layered with homemade red bean paste, sweet red beans, and raisins. Served with fragrant osmanthus honey on top, it offers a soft and comforting sweetness. Though called a “cool cake,” it can also be warmed slightly, bringing out an even gentler texture and aroma.
